The Bürgerhaus e.V. is a non-profit organization in Berlin-Pankow which has among other things eight day-care centres. The volunteer jobs we offer are in our day-care centres. The volunteers assist a teacher in a child group. They play with the kids, do arts and crafts, sing with them, and accompany them on excursions. We would also like the volunteers to offer projects to the children, for example with European awareness as theme. The age of the kids varies between 8 weeks and 6 years. The volunteers (max.4) live together in single rooms in a rented apartment in Berlin-Pankow and are sent to a language course right from the beginning of the EVS.
