Short profile:INTRODUCTION
The Palestine Youth Committee is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan and youth-led committee founded in Gaza in 2008. It was initiated by some of the intellectual youths, as a vehicle for youth to identify their needs, to organize activities that are beneficial to the community, to suggest services they need as a group, and to become active participants with their youth counterparts in abroad programs.

This committee, further, acts as a supporting body for youth-led initiatives, community organizations and other non-profit organizations working in the Gaza Strip.

While the structure of the Palestinian demographics is challenging, Palestinian youth are the country's key human resource and the future of building Palestinian democratic state. For this reason a committee should empower and motivate youth to play key roles in forming the shape of the country.
