Short profile:DQLCC is NGO established in 1994 in Dana village 200KM south to Amman the capital city of Jordan.
Working for comprehensive development of the local community through empowerment and facilitating opportunities for the community with local, national and international partners.
Main focus is paid to
- Environment and Nature protection
- Kids
-Youth
-Women.
Activities:
Public awareness programs about environment and the right to health.
- Youth program: mobilizing youth and introducing opportunities for exchanges,TC,seminars,Job opportunities and voluntary work
- TC for kids
- Lectures, workshops and TC to women targeting different aspect including illiteracy classes
DQLCC has been active in youth program since 2001 and have participated in several youth projects and events in about 14 countries .
DQLCCis a member of:
- Jordan Cooperatives Union
- WAMIP( World Alliance of Mobile Indigenous People)
- HIC-HLRN (Habitat International Coalition- Housing and Land Right network.
- CoMed network (Cooperation over Mediterranean)
- and other national and international institutions and Networks
