Short profile:Belgrade Open School (BOS) is non-governmental, not-for-profit educational organization. BOS contributes to the overall development of society through additional education and training to agents of social change, research and policy-development in order to build modern society based on democratic values.

BOS realizes its projects through one department and nine centers. Through DAUS - Department For Advanced Undergraduate Studies BOS educates and networks outstanding students through the multidisciplinary academic programmes in social sciences and humanities aiming to the development of / in the aim of creating a / aiming to develop / democratic society based on the European values. Beside DAUS, the following centers are operating within BOS: CePIT - Centre for Research of Information Technologies, CCB - Centre for Capacity Building, CIRel - Centre for Religious Studies, SOC - Educational Advising Centre, CDE - Centre for Development of Education, CGCC - Career Guidance and Counseling Centre, CEI - Centre for European Integration and Centre for Publishing.

BOS implemented numerous projects for young people, such as trainings, seminars, summer schools, virtual schools on diverse topics. BOS also targets secondary education students through arranging "Mingl", www.mingl.org, first informative web service for them in Serbian language.
