Short profile: GESOGED is a non-profit-oriented NGO established by and for young people. Its main target group is the youngsters aged between 15 and 25. GESOGED aims at taking a pioneering role in organizing every possible action towards social and personal development of its target group. It believes in the power of youth in creating a better world to live in. It has 30 active members at the moment but it has strong contacts with many youth groups in Balikesir. GESOGED is open to all kinds of youth actions but especially to exchange and EVS projects. The thematic focus of GESOGED are social exclusion, equal opportunities, democracy and human rights, arts and culture, and youth leisure. GESOGED puts great emphasize on developing the cooperation of all state and civil institutions for the benefit of youth.
