Short profile:	Tammiku Gymnasium of Kohtla-Yarve was opened on the 9th of September, 1991. There are over 670 schoolboys and girls studying here. More than 70 well-qualified teachers work here. They are apparently talented, creative and dedicated people. Senior students have an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of foreign languages such as English, German and French, and different exact science subjects, i.e. mathematics, physics and I.T. Much attention is paid to I.T. education at school. Our gymnasium has developed the friendly cooperation with other Estonian schools as well as the schools from Germany, Italy and Denmark. We also work in the frames of different projects and arrange international students
