Short profile:The work of the Kedainiai Regional Police Youth Centre is oriented towards the children having occupational problems as well as the ones who are grown in families where poverty, emotional and physical violence, lack of social skills and knowledge, insufficient attention to children prevail.
It is a completely new initiative and substandard way of solving problems, which involves working with delinquent teenagers or the ones inclined to offence by not applying the penal or administrative responsibility but by providing social, psychological and material aid. It is the second police youth centre in Lithuania where Prevention service officers alongside their direct duties provide children with help without any remuneration.
