Short profile:APD is an international, non-governmental, non profit-making, non-political youth organization, which is targeted to develop youth, to promote peace, tolerance and solidarity in Caucasus, through helping young people to acquire knowledge, skills and competencies, and recognizing the value of such experiences.

We provide high quality programs to the young people with fewer opportunities (from a less-privileged cultural, geographical or socio-economic background, or with disabilities);

We develop leaders who are committed to peace, democracy and solidarity;

We provide practical community-based educational opportunities for youth;

We support the peaceful and nonviolent process of transformation of the conflicts in Caucasus through providing knowledge, skills and competencies to youth, youth leaders and youth workers;

We promote integration of young people into society and the involvement in self initiatives to support solving the community, educational, economical, environmental and social problems;

We Promote the better understanding of the diversity of the common cultures, supporting the fight against racism, xenophobia, discrimination and promoting equality at all levels of society.
