Short profile:Chernivtsi Oblast Public Organisation \"Social Partnership Center\" (SPC) was officially registered on April 10thl, 2006. Our vision: We envisage a regional organization with a branch structure stretching throughout the various rayons and towns within the Chernivtsi oblast as well as other regions of Ukraine; working effectively, resultatively and on the basis of openness, transparency, tolerance and professionalism. Our mission: \r\n• we assist in building relations between partners originating from all “sectors” of the society based on the principles of constructive interaction, responsibility, solidarity, recognition of mutual rights and responsibilities;\r\n• we assist in the implementation of democratic principles and approaches on all levels of public administration and local government\r\n• we assist in capacity building in different kinds of NGOs which are part of the equation to strengthen civil society\r\nPurposes: We aim at realizing and defending the rights and freedoms of the members of public organization as well as satisfying theirsocial, cultural, creative, economic and other general interests. Moreover, we wish to provide assistance to • unfold and develop the creative, moral and intellectual potential of the people based on national and common human values; • development of the civil society by supporting and fostering public initiatives, • development of all forms and directions of social partnerships between power bodies, business representatives and NGOs, • imrprovement of the system of social care. The Organisation consists of 6 members. \r\nStrategic directions of our activities: Informational and consultative support for NGOs, local authorities and business structures, Democratization of society, Training Agency, Volunteer Agency, Cross-border co-operation, promotion of European-integration processes.
