| Short profile: | GIOSEF Caserta, Provincial Office of Caserta of the National Association Italy GIOSEF, was born in September 1999. Its aims are the promotion of youth mobility, non-traditional trainings, youth participation to international policy, in particular the European one, through activities such as: Youth exchanges, seminars, courses in the third sector, congresses, research, publications, WebTV, theatre, books, intercultural festivals, etc.
In these years, the Association grows particularly, making activities of this type, increasing more and more its presence in the territory. With the passing of time, however it has come up against the greatest difficulties of youth associations, i.e. the succession, but it is able to pursue the project associative and extend its scope.
In addition, the activities in Europe and the initiatives of the local dimension are increasing, managing service activities in favour of youth. In fact, within the Association the Local Decentralised Point of the Italian Network Eurodesk is also active that promotes good initiatives of youth aggregation. Moreover, the Association is taking part to the birth of the bodies of youth participation, like forum and councils municipal and regional authorities.
The Association is funded over the years with the subscription fees, with the donations, with the implementation of projects. There are also cases of cooperation and advice with public entities as municipalities and provinces on youth policies. For this, makes use of the work of Members who acquire knowledge in the management of entities non-profit becoming social workers. Finally, a further contribution in terms of commitment was made before by conscientious objectors and then by the volunteers in national civil service.
