Short profile:UNPLI is a no profit association of social promotion, it is member of the National Associations Observatory depending on the Ministry of Social Politics. It works on national scale coordinating the activities of almost 5000 associations pro loco affiliated and 600.000 members offering services and assistance, in order to reach the statutory finalities.
In particular UNPLI has, among its purposes, the promotion of local culture and territorial identity, with particular attention to the traditions retrieval, and the safeguard of traditions, folklore and typical customs of each Italian village. For this reason the pro loco associations collaborate on different levels with local boards for the traditions retrieval and the promotion of cultural heritage. In this sense UNPLI has realized a large number of projects such as
