Short profile:My name is Alicja Birgiel. I'm twenty four years old girl and I live in Lithuania. Firstly, I'll tell something about myself. I'm cheerful, joyful,friendly person. I like to learn new things,meet new people.My biggest hobby is horses. I love riding on a horse, horse is my favourite animal. All my childhood i spent at my grandparents farm riding on horse. When I'm riding on horse I'm truly happy,it's give me joy and piece inside of me. I also like to spend my free time hanging with my friends,listen music and dance.
In the end of June I finish my master's studies and I have now arrived at a point in my life where I have to make decisions that are vital for my future. I don't want to start looking for a job,because I want to broaden my mind about life and about myself. That's why I think volunteering it's the best thing to get expore new things in my life.
I enjoy doing voluntary work because I want to make myself useful in the world, and get new experiences of which I can learn and with which I can help others in need. I am very curious to other cultures and different ways of living, which is why I am interested in doing voluntary work abroad. I think it is a challenge to learn to speak and communicate with a new language.
Really I expect get to know me better, I think will gain confidence and become more self sufficient. That's why I wanna try new things,meet knew people,to a new adventure and am open for every new experience. Not only do I expect to learn from the program itself, but also from the people who live in the country and the other volunteers that come from many cultures and can hopefully teach me values that I will carry with me for life. I hope that the possibility exists for me to join your project as a volunteer.
