Short profile:Youth parliament of Hyvinkaa has 32 members aged 13-18 years old. Purpose of the parliament is to get the voice of young people heard in the decision making of the city. Inside of the parliament is the 12 membered council of youth. Councelours are 15-18 years old. They have shared the responsibilities in different areas like: International affairs, happenings, information and media, school co-operation and head of youth parliament. We want to get involved in many different international youth projects. We are interested in topics like: democracy, youth participation, media, active young people and dialogy between us and the decicion makers. We are also open to all different kinds of exchanges and hope to find new partners and projects from this network.
