Short profile: Edirne Nature Sports Club was established in 2005. Our objectives are to develop some sportive activities such as Mountain Sports, Canoe&Rafting, Cycling, Skiing, etc. in Edirne and to get nature consciousness, to be aware of life between children and youth and also to advertise nature sports to people. These two sports: mountaining and Cycling are doing as active sports. On the other hand we are organizing trekking at the weekends in the Istarancalar region, preparing brochures and broadcasts about nature and ecology in order to call people attention. There are 95 member aged between 18-40 in the club today, but our door is open to all youths without being a member. However, in order to be member, having a nature love and protection conscious are enough. To make the young supporters and followers of all kind of political, social, economical and cultural Works for contributing to the development of Edirne region and Turkey.Acitivities for local people: we organize some meetings with young, local and disadvantaged people. Informing and guidance: we inform our youth and guide them especially in education and sports opportunities in Turkey and abroad, and some other topics as well.
