Short profile:Strong Linx is a not-for-profit, London-based, arts organisation. We offer many opportunities in a wide variety of arts to young people aged 7-25 years old. Our provisions reach a great number of young people who are from ethnic minorities, low-income families, young offenders, and generally those who would not ordinarily be able to afford to pay for the workshops we offer them.
Strong Linx is looking for partners for EVS/Exchange Hosting projects that require UK participants. We have worked in many partnerships with arts, youth and volunteering organisations in London, and are now hoping to extend our activities to Europe and the World. We would like our young people to be able to participate in international activities that would benefit themselves, their peers and their communities in numerous ways, as I’m sure you know!
We are able to send individuals, although we are especially interested in working on group projects. The range of young people we would put forward are aged from 18-30 years old, with varied backgrounds and experiences. Some are interested in developing their experience in Youth Work, Community Development and NGO’s, others are keen to be involved in the Arts, participating in workshops and productions, and others still are interested in the environment or health. We would also be interested to hear from you about any other type of proposal!
