Short profile:Academy fulfils its goals by various thematic and intensive project-based activities, ensuring sustainability of the organisation and realization of members’ potential and creativity. Academy develops its competence in the following areas: intercultural learning in education, promotion of research-based critical thinking, democracy in higher education, international and intersectoral academic mobility, knowledge-based society and importance of interdisciplinary research, career path of young researchers, youth motivation mechanisms, transferable skills and knowledge management. Academy is a full member of the European Council of doctoral candidates and young researchers. Academy collaborates with various organisation and institutions in order to form research and higher education landscape covering all groups of interests. Moreover, the Academy collaborates with the following European networks: EuroScience and Network of Youth Excellence (NEYX). Academy has conducted more than 10 international projects focused on youth and their career prospective with an accent on multicultural aspects in education and various ethic questions in this area as well as career development prospective
