Short profile:VICOLOCORTO is a non-political, non profitable youth cultural association, based in Pesaro (Italy) and mainly working in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, but also spread information and involves young people at regional and national level. His specialization in youth work concerns the education and mobility fields. The Mission of the association is the education of young people through non-formal education. This working method refers to the learning which takes place outside formal educational curriculum. Non-formal learning activities involve people on a voluntary basis and are carefully planned, to foster the participants personal and social development.
To reach those aims, the association VICOLOCORTO organizes the following activities :
· Cultural activities : meetings, seminars and events;
· Educational activities : specific educational workshops for young people;
· Mobility and intercultural activities: hosting and sending project at international level (working mainly with Youth in Action Programme)
