Short profile:We are the non governmental education and training centre, established by Jesuits in 1993. Their goal was to create a place in Wroclaw, in which young Europeans could get to know one another and develop in the spirit of dialogue. The focus of our activity is the youth - through workshops, voluntary service and trainings we try to ensure friendly, pro-development space for them. By offering training-counselling services, we want to make contribution to strengthening the third sector and building the civic society. Angelus Silesius House is a meeting place for the youth of various viewpoints, religions, nationalities and cultures. The topics which our educational projects cover reflect a search for a response to challenges of the modern world. We are registered in the index of non-public education institutions, being governed by the Superintendent of Schools Office in Wroclaw. We have taken part in the EVS programme since 2001: we send young people (individually and in groups) abroad and we host volunteers in our House.
