| Short profile: | Youth Center which belongs to Manisa Municipality, is trying to establish a democratic platform which has respect, sharing ideas, finding solutions, improving decisions and taking effort to solve any problems.
The Youth Center organizes cultural, artistic and sport activities. We try to help young people to solve their problems without expecting any award recompemse.
Youngsters can partipate in some courses such as computer, English lessons, dance, had craft, aerobic, step, classic dance...etc. In addition we have established different clubs such as music club, craft club, dance club...etc. Besides of these activities youth center is:
* Spreading methods of non formal education,
* Support NGOs in their initiatives,
* Work with regional youth, collaboration and networking,
* Find partners and enlarge the collaboration as well as exchange of experience with foreign and international youth organization,
* Development of volunteer movement,
* Develop informational communicative technologies,
* Develop mechanisms for the youth social, political, economical and cultural participation, capacity building of organizations, training for the youth workers.
We would like to have all Manisa young people take part in the center. The staff of Youth Center are the personel of Manisa Municipality.
Center is placed in a newly built modern 7 storey building with a total area of 5600 square metres. Center has even its own first aid and health office.
Center has total 11 classrooms, 1 great hall, 1 library, 1 dance room, 1 computer classroom, 1 internet room, 1 seminer room, 1 dining room, 1 coffee room, 2 hand crafts classrooms, 1 music classroom. |
