Short profile:FROM PAST TO FUTURE OLIVE BRANCH
Our Project includes Portugal,Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria as partners and Turkey as the coordinator. It is a fact that every country has historical and natural beauties, but sometimes we can not introduce them to our pupils enough. In this project we will not only to teach the historical and natural beauties of our countries to the students and but also to supply them a consciousness how to protect them. At the end of the project, the students will have knowledge about historical and natural beauties of all partner countries well enough and they will set new friendships.
In realization of the project, we will build a website at first to share information with partners easily. Then, we will prepare excursions individually to places not far from our city. Students will take photographs and paint pictures there. We will make a contest to choose the best photographs and paintings, and also brochures made by the students to describe the places of visited. We will get some ornaments from those places to use them in our photo and painting exhibition. We will get an evaluation just after an excursion, like writing a letter to new friends from other partner countries on the website. When we visit partners, we will share some of our photos, paintings, brochures and ornaments to prepare a common exhibition. When we come close to the end of the project, we will prepare a 'Friendship Corner' in the school by using products acquired from our partners.
