Short profile:We are a group of students who are part of the Dutch United Nations Student Association (DUNSA) based in Groningen, the Netherlands. We are trying to organize an exchange with students from other European countries that have similar interests and that wish to learn more about the other cultures represented in Europe and what it means to be a European citizen. The DUNSA is a national student organization and we represent the division located in Groningen. Groningen is a city in the north of the Netherlands known for its large and diverse student population. Students between the age of 17 and 25 that attend the University of Groningen or the Hanze University Groningen of Applied Sciences can be become a member this organization. Every Monday, an activity covering international relations, generally in the form of a lecture, is organized after which the weekly socializer starts. The exchange that we wish to organize will be focused on the differences and similarities between the two partners, and how these differences and similarities can be placed in a European perspective. Many themes/subjects are possible, such as Human Rights or Expansion of the European Union, basically every subject that has anything to do with International Relations. In other words, we would like to create a learning experience that can give the students a better view of the relations within Europe and how these could be improved.
