Short profile:The Organization for Art and Culture was founded in the beginning of 2009 by a group of young people who have benefitted directly from the european strategy of empowering young people. With the experience that we had over the years in projects, humanitarian activities, and artistic performances, we hope now to change the world.
The vision of the Organization For Art and Culture is to encourage and support youth culture as a powerful element in the development and reviving of society. For this, we promote Europeans values (in particular solidarity, tolerance and unity) and all forms of the arts. We aim to facilitate and sustain the access to art and culture for all community members.
Our mission is to build up a proper environment for young people to develop their talent and interests and discover safe and friendly ways to spend their free time. This way, we think that young people will be empowered to find self confidence and their own motivation.
We believe that through culture the values of a society are built. In this aim, we create, sustain and promote contemporary culture because through this, contemporary awareness of permanent values is created. We need people of recognized value who represent models of excellence and who are appreciated in their own time - people that encourage the community to think, to feel, and to be involved. This builds active citizens that will shape the society of tomorrow.
