Short profile:ROJM is working for Moroccan and other migrant youngsters between 11 and 25 years old in particular. And is open for all kinds of youngsters in the Mechelen region. The aim is to bring together youngsters of all kinds of origins .

Via this youth centre, the young people can participate in a wide variety of activities. In the first place the youth centre wants to be a place where young people can meet each other and exchange experiences.
It tries to give them a cultural self-esteem so they can meet other cultures in an equal way.
We try to give this cultural self-esteem by adopting a friendly attitude towards Islam and a place where they can feel at home. In the gathering room there are entertainment games such as snookertable, table-soccer, internet, computers, tabletennis... To the gathering places also belongs the auditorium, the fitness-hall and the room for combat sports. Outside there is a playground that can be used daily as a football-field, etc...

Activities: Sports (football, tennis, boxing, ...)/Creative workshops(Hip hop, rapdance, Maroccan music Groups, cooking,...)/Socio-cultural trainings (afterschool supervisions, info-weekends, participation in severaI activities apart form the youth house)/Films, quiz, cultural performances, etc...

We have also a setting in Willebroek (Ringlaan 199) fo the youngsters in Willebroek. This belongs to the youth work of our center . Therefore we can employ more volunteers in our center ( one for the 11-15 , one for + 15 and one for the Willebroek setting of our center) . All the youtworkers are part of the youth team of ROJM
