Short profile:Il Qlugh is a Maltese non-profit making voluntary organisation and its aims is to promote
participation in all forms and discipline of the Arts in Malta. The objectives of the
organisation are the following:
a) To identify the needs of artists and to support the formation of societies and other
like groups for the purpose of fulfilling those needs;
b) To organise musical, theatrical, or dramatic performances, lectures, exhibitions,
social gathering, public meetings, conferences and other like events with a view to
improving the knowledge and skills of persons present or about to become engaged
in the artistic sector or to stimulate public appreciation of or support for the Arts and
to make or contribute towards the provision of awards and distinctions;
c) To serve as a focus of action and information for the arts sector and to provide a
channel of communication with other networks both local and overseas;
