Short profile:Our organization was formed in 2003 and since then is actively working on harm reduction program and fights against HIV/AIDS. Starting from 2007, our "ZONA" became part of the biggest coalition of youth organizations in the country, the coalition SEGA. We are continually working on advocacy and lobbying for youth policy in Macedonia, at the same time connecting and strengthening youths with the purpose of improving their overall conditions.
In the past 18 months, “ZONA” and the coalition worked in developing the action plan for implementation of the national youth strategy of the Republic of Macedonia. This action plan was adopted by the Government of Republic of Macedonia in April 2009 and its implementation has already started. Starting from January 2010, ZONA implements projects for youth participation in schools and local government.
