Short profile:"homoecos:" is an environmental organization with a mission to promote wide everyday use of environment- and human-friendly materials and technologies as well as to create social movement that not only to emotionally supports environment friendly ideas but also puts them in practice and lives them out through activities that are beneficial for environment and humans.

The main task of the organization is to ensure an open, two-sided communication between"homoecos:" and consumers in order to promote a deeper insight and create a wish for participation and facilitate changes in individual's lifestyle and consuming habits.

Activities and projects carried out by "homoecos:" include:
- information campaigns
- youth non-formal education projects
- program "nature-paper-nature" - distributing paper garbage bags in the "Statoil" gas stations
- program "nature - bioplastics - nature" - promoting the use of bioplastics instead of petrol-based plastics
- program "nature - rock'n'roll - nature" - supporting and taking part in different music festival and events
