Short profile:Aksaray University EU office is an official unit in Aksaray , Turkey. We organize Youth in Action projects and give seminars to the 2000 students at our university. Our web site is http://eng.aksaray.edu.tr/ \r\nThere are lots of student clubs at our university: such as the international publicity club, music, theatre, folk dances, computer and technology club, photography club, trekking and hiking clubs etc.. We have involved in projects ranging from relief aid to development with a vision to promote community participation and grassroots action and giving training both young educators and the youth involved in the training and learning procedure.. ASU EU office is also involved in relief assistance, seminars, tours, competitions, various courses fort he target group of Youth for their integration into the social life, capacity building, education, and livelihoods support, concentrating on the needs of children, youth, and women.. \r\n Our last YIA exchange project was in October 2008 in Aksaray ( www.dynayouth.com) . \r\nThe latest training course was in July 2009 (www.youthinnovative.com)\r\nEspecially In our international publicity club we get together regularly and We listen to the problems and prejudices here in Turkey and try to solve them by means of contacting with some authorities in the region . We also hope to publicize our culture and get to know the various cultures by means of the EU Youth in action projects both in Turkey and abroad. \r\n
