Short profile:The Birzebbuga Local Council is made up of 7 Councillors, the Mayor, Vice-Mayor and five Councillors. Amongst the various activities and events organised by the Council, one can mention the cultural activities which are targeted for society in general some of which are organised by the Birzebbuga youths themselves, the commemorative ceremonies which are held on the occasion of the six national feasts as well as Birzebbuga Day on the first Sunday of September.

Furthermore, the Birzebbuga Local Council seeks to encourage youths to become more active in the society to benefit from a healthier lifestyle and make them partecipate in youth programmes to interact with other youths with different cultures.
