Short profile:We are a community organization situated in south-west of Romania. We especially act as a NGO for youngers and minorities from 14 to 28 years old. We develop projects together with all interested institutions from our village on specific topics as human rights, international culture, european countries and community development. The last 2 years we focused mainly on preserving Romanian traditions and keep up some european values. Our work included festivals, partnerships with neighbor schools, projects with youth organizations. In the same time we keep an eye on our minorities involving them in all the activities with a focus on youth and children with less opportunities.
Our village is a multicultural ethnic community. We live here Romanian, gipsy minority, German, Czech ans Serbian minorities and for everyone is important to accept everyone.
“Asociatia Comunitatii Eselnita Cazanele Dunarii” has been established in March 2005 during a development community project. We are 10 adult members and more than 15 young active volunteers.
In this moment we are looking for a international exchange project on YiA Programme.
