Short profile:we are the youth folklore song and dance group \\\"Viteri\\\" from Latvia. The Latvian folk dance and song group Viteri unites 7-23 years old folk dance and song enthusiasts from Rezekne city. Main idea of group is traditional Latvian folk cultural awareness, conservation and use today. Group participants play on different 19.-20 century instruments-fiddle, mandolin, harmonicas, accordion, drums, bass, whistle. But most favorite for group participants are folk dances. Regular we organize folk dance activities for other city inhabitants. We can sing, play musical instruments, dance and create dance games. We are interested in folk dance and songs projects.
