Oxfam Italy, which joined in 2010 the confederation Oxfam International, originates from the Ucodep, Italian non-governmental organization for over 30 years involved with passion and professionalism to improve the living conditions of thousands of poor people in the world and give them power and energy to build their own future, to monitor and direct their lives, to exercise their rights.

We believe that the greatest resource of our planet and human energy. And it is this energy that we seek, we release and support. To turn it into food, health, water, education, concrete rights and dignity.

We work directly in 20 countries around the world to help ensure sustainable livelihood, the right to water, health and education, respect for human rights in humanitarian crises, the right to participation, listening and solidarity.
