Fundatia Culturala Timpul is an apolitical, not-for-profit and nongovernmental organisation who works for achieving its objectives: fostering cultural creativity, artistic and scientific promotion of Romanian cultural values at home and abroad, inter-cultural dialogue.
Fundatia Culturala Timpul perform a large range of cultural activities with a diverse nature:
Editing of Timpul magazine. Since the beginning of publishing the new series , the magazine "Timpul" made clear the principles of a cultural program that guides appearances, leading to its location on the upper level of the value chain of such publications.
Timpul Publishing: Through a comprehensive program, embodied in the principles of certain value Timpul Publishing makes a significant contribution to the cultural heritage of Iasi and Romania, editorial program following a lofty, literary supporting viable alternatives, promoting young authors who manage to bring a new lease of life by enriching and diversifying literature.
Professional theatre festival “Iasi Face Euro-Art” - The project aims to promote culture and art in the city of Iasi, by setting professional theater festival "Iasi Face Euro-Art ', to bring them together, those who love the theater, those who live in and those who are generally not big consumers of culture. The project objectives follows: the continuity of the festival to promote culture and art at the city level, whereas locally, no longer carries such cyclical events, improving public access to culture and growing, with this event, interest in youth culture. This project aims to achieve a yearly theater festival, which already became a tradition for public of Iasi, gaining repetitive and through which the city to regain its place of cultural capital, and interest in such events to improve with each edition.
Other cultural and youth projects: Fundatia Culturala Timpul encourages young generation to express themselves through a wide area of cultural and/or youth projects: music, dance, theatre, film, photo festivals, literature forums and more. We want to value every youngsters’ idea of cultural expression and we’re doing our best to provide them all the logistic they need for.
