Short profile:The organization is born thanks to the will of the founders, who experienced great Youth in Action Projects while living in Milan, the biggest city of northern Italy.
All of us was in fact coming from another region, geographically not far from Milan (it's only 70 KMs) but culturally really far. Where we were born is really hard to deal with international aspects, or even with european projects, because the people are often ignorant and not oriented to meet and understand the foreigners and the differencies. We strongly believe that it's too easy to work with youth in Action in a place like Milan, where the international climate is already really strong. So we took the risk and moved back to Fino del Monte.

Operating in the geographically disadvantaged context of the mountain community of the high Val Seriana, our
main activity is to spread European consciousness, exploiting the possibilities offered by the YIA programme.

We promote a wide range of activities on our area, especially working with high schools and local associations, to involve the youngsters in cultural and transnational projects. We already took part to several youth exchanges, especially with eastern countries.

We are skilled, organized and enthusiastic. We already worked one year as Informal Group of Youth, and then decided to found this Association in the end of 2010.

We are doing very well on the local level, expanding our network in a good way and even gaining the respect of some local institution. Now we just need to do the same internationally, looking for more partners all around Europe!
