TidsNätverket i Bergsjön, Timenetwork in Bergsjön, started in 2007 as the first organization in Sweden to use time banking for building and supporting social networks in Bergsjön/Gothenburg. The organization supports a structure to increase the amount of social activities and meeting places in the area. Members and participants get motivated to organize social activities together for each other and consists of many different groups of people with different backgrounds who want to make a change in their local community.
