Short profile:My organisation EREC/ Education and Research Community is a student community which brings
together people who want to do voluntary works and improve themselves. EREC has different
subcommittees working on different activities. These are;
EU education and Youth Programs (AB Gençlik):
In this subcommittee, we are making “Youth in Action” projects and try tosend groups to projects in
other countries. Also we organizing training in our university about EU Youth and Lifelong Learning
Projects. We have already done 4 projects in turkey. the last one was "St Eurocount" which is 1.1 project consists of 3 different country. we also made 4.3 projects. despite, we have partners from different countries such as Spain, Italy, Poland etc. we participated projects in Spain, Italy, Slovakia . We have so much experinces about youth in action programmes.
Aid for Primary Schools Charity (ILKYAR):
This subcommittee works generally national level. Students from ou university are going to
Boarding Prinary Schools in rural areas to motivate them for education and life
Boğaziçi Youth Center (BGM)
This subcommittee gives free courses to poor students who will take high school determining
exams.
Idea Workshop,
In this subcommittee, we are making brain storming and producing ideas in different areas. Also we are
trying to make projects of these ideas.
