Short profile:ASIMIST is a an apolitical and non-governmental students’ association having as purpose to promote the students’ civic and cultural initiatives and also to safeguard these students’ rights. From 2006 we are also part of the National Students’ Union and active members of this Federation. We are representing over 2500 students from our Faculty and we have 200 members, 180 of them being active in implementing our projects. The projects we are implementing have different topics, trying to stimulate the students’ interest to be active members and to fulfil their participation needs: Students’ initiatives: Job Fairs (2008, 2009, 2010), Studentiada (2009), Welfare Campaigns (2008, 2009), Students’ Conferences and Communication Sessions (2008, 2009, 2010), Ecological Actions (2009) , Photography contests (2009), Biking and the Motorbiking Festival (2010).
