Short profile:Hello;
We are the Young Entrepreneurs Club from Bilkent University (Ankara/ Turkey). Let me brifly introduce you to our club. Bilkent Young Entrepreneurs Club was founded by undergraduate students from various departments in Bilkent University. Bilkent ranks first in Turkey and 112th in the world according to Times Higher Education survey(2). Our aim is to educate young entrepreneurs who would create new inventions and strategies in diverse business fields and our first goal is to provide our entrepreneur friends the professional support and financial backup for the ideas that they have. We are working hard for this because we think that the passion to create something is too valuable to waste. We think that, in order to be successful every firm should think wide and consider going abroad. So as to do business abroad one must have connections and create networks abroad. Hence, we believe that European youth programs which are funded by the EU is perfect for students from different countries to brain storm and build friendships. For this cause, we have created a department called “European Youth Community” in our club. By the hardworking of this department,we participated and successfully completed  many projects in the various countries. We have participated in to 3 projects in Romania, Belgium and Switzerland (from action 1.1). And only for this term we have 3 projects  from Action 1.1 and Action 1.3 in hand in which we will host in Turkey. European Youth Community is one of most valuable departments in our club  due to its potential to create bridges between students and academics from all over europe.
