Short profile:Izmir Governorship, EU Coordination Center has been active in LLP and Youth projects since 2007. The center is a kind of umbrella organization that covers different organizations working on national and EU projects. As a governmental organization it also provides guidance and counselling services for organizations working on Youth, Women and Adult education, inclusion and empowerment of dissadvantaged groups. The aim of the Center is to increase the number and quality of the projects developed in Izmir Region, to share experiences, information and technologies among Izmir province and other EU member countries, to bring Europeanization dimension and new improvements of public administrations and civil society in Izmir, to provide technical support if any difficulty encountered.
The center plays an active role in dissemination, exploitation, evaluation and implementation parts of the projects in Izmir province. Studies and comparative analysis are also done by the Center’s experts.
