Short profile:Penha – Cooperative of Social Solidarity and Education for Professional Integration, CRL is focused on local community assistance, mainly on those who are disadvantaged, on the threshold of exclusion and on the management and reduction of social, economical and environmental risk factors as a requirement for a worthy and sustainable life.
Social, economical, cultural and gender equity configure, therefore, fundamental elements for the effective human rights exercise by those living in poverty and in vulnerable situations.

Thereafter, the role of Penha Cooperative is to facilitate social changing processes, with joint responsibility of other involved actors (local collectivities, public and private sector), which enable individuals and local organizations for the effective use of a leadership attitude in confront of their own development path.
