Short profile:The Non profit Organization LIGURCULTURA was created in February 2007, under article 266/91.
The main objective of the association is to promote cultural sensitivity and awareness amongst all EU citizens. This should enable these participants/members to develop their knowledge of other cultures and learn useful tools to meet the ever growing demand for this type of scarce resource.
LIGURCULTURA promotes initiatives such as seminars, cultural events, workshops and other elaborate projects to facilitate the cultural integration of all participants and members as well as assisting groups at risk of social exclusion and violence.
The main initiatives of LIGURCULTURA are to:
- Promote the cooperation and cultural integration between citizens
- Sensitise and combat violence against women
- Promote initiatives with young people at local and international level
- Promote the cooperation and cultural integration of immigrants
- Fight against social exclusion and discrimination
- Organization of events, conferences, workshops, formation courses and guided visits, etc.
- Collaborate with other private/public associations, through projects at regional, national and international level.
