| Short profile: | I would like to introduce our institution as an experienced partner in European Projects. We, as Elazığ Province Directorate of National Education, have coordinated and participated in various EU projects ( comenius,ldv, grundvig, transfer of innovation , commission centered projects...etc. ) .Elazığ National Education Directorate is affiliated to Ministry of National Education of Turkish Republic. Established in 1923, we provide general education for the pupils and adults in Elazig. In addition to all comprehensive schools in formal education (The Pre-Primary education, primary education, secondary education) ENED’s operations cover all non-formal education (regular upper secondary schools, upper secondary schools for adults, vocational institutions, apprenticeship training and young people’s workshop activities). Elazığ National Education Directorate is a big family with 425 schools, 6626 teachers and 139454 students . Our directorate is responsible for planning, programming, executing, inspecting, developing and evaluating education and training services in the city of Elazığ and its districts. Our Directorate is the unique authority in Elazığ Province to administer policies on pre-school and school education, children, young people and adults. The operations are being developed in accordance with objectives determined by the Ministry of National Education of Turkish Republic.
