Short profile:The Albanian Youth Council, is a national level umbrella NGO created in 1994 to act as a mediator between youth and the state, to serve at youth NGOs, groups and structures. It also coordinates information sites for young job seekers, promoting training and youth employment, providing passport information and advice, after visa requirements were lifted for the Schengen Area in 2010.
Inactive between 2007-2009, the AYC was re-launched in November 2010. AYC now has 38 members and 3 obsserver members NGOs. One of our primary goals is to contribute to re-lounch the Albanian Youth Parliament (AYP), which is dissolved into local parliaments.
