Short profile:The activities carried out by NGO “HERC“ have as a main purpose the strengthening of democracy in Kosovo, through the empowering of civil society.
The organization’s mission is to create a civil society based on the ideals of justice, solidarity, and respect for human rights. Through the projects that are implemented, NGO “HERC“tries to encourage democratic, pluralist, and peaceful societies in the Balkans, promoting social responsibility and reconciliation among peoples. The work of NGO “HERC“is based on the principle of participation.
The projects implemented by NGO“HERC“ are focused on three main areas: local governments capacity building, development of civil society initiatives and increased participation of youth. Through these projects, NGO “HERC“ have increased cooperation between people of different nations, ages, and political tendencies. Apart from realized projects, NGO “HERC“ also encourages citizen activism.
