Short profile:Centrum Nowoczesnosci (Centre of Innovation) was founded in 2010 to promote and popularise science and technology in a modern, innovative form, activate local community and promote education for all ages. As a cultural institution, we manage to achieve these aims through realization and support of various projects and events in the field of scientific, technical and cultural development and ecological awareness. As our main activity, starting from 2013 we will be managing a modern science centre in Torun. It will consist of interactive exhibits, enabling and encouraging visitors to carry out experiments. Projects scheduled for 2012/2013 include popular science presentations, workshops, interactive exhibits. Our target group will be kids and youngsters. in order to introduce them to innovative forms of education, encourage them to experiment and change the general stereotype that science is complicated or boring.
