Short profile:Die Kinderfreunde verstehen sich als Lobby für Kinder und Familien, wobei wir unter Familie vielfältige Formen des Zusammenlebens mit Kindern verstehen und neuere Formen des familiären Zusammenlebens (Patchwork-Familien, Stiefväter- und Stiefmütterfamilien, Ein-Eltern-Familien usw.) unterstützen. Die Basis unseres pädagogisch-politischen Handelns sind die U.N.-Menschenrechte, im besonderen die U.N.-Kinderrechte mit ihren drei Säulen Versorgung, Schutz und Partizipation.
