Short profile:C.A.R.D.O. is a civil society association, established in Slovakia in April 2004.

Our mission is to develop, highlight and recognize volunteering in Slovakia and abroad.

Our activities range from volunteering advocacy, awareness raising and education to activities that involve various stakeholders (volunteering organisation, municipalities, companies and volunteers), highlight their volunteer work and recognize the remarkable contributions in the volunteering field. Our regular activites include the administration of the national virtual volunteer centre www.dobrovolnictvo.sk, organizing Volunteer Days and Bratislava Volunteers of the Year.

C.A.R.D.O. is a holder of accreditations:

to hold trainings of Management of Volunteers and
to host and send volunteers within the European Volunteer Service

C.A.R.D.O. is a member of:

European Volunteer Centre based in Belgium (www.cev.be)
Forum of Christian institutions (www.fki.sk)
