Founded in 1989, INDIRA GANDHI INTEGRAL EDUCATION CENTRE is a Research, Development & Training organisation based in Odisha,, India. It is one of the few such International organizations based in the Western Odisha led by Scocial Actvists, which works at the grassroots, national, regional, and international levels. Together with partners from a diverse range of International Universities,NGOs,human rights movements and networks, IGIEC also works to advance the rights of men,women and girls, and the sexual and reproductive freedoms of all people. IGIEC advocates for positive Social Change through national and international fora, and provides training and learning opportunities to global activists and leaders through its Institute.
Indira Gandhi Integral Education Centre is a National Non - Governmental Organisation Accredited to the United Nations which got registered in 1989. This registered Organisation is having a vivid history of voluntary social service of a decade since its inception from 1989. The foundation conducts intensive rural technology training programmes for rural development, skill upgradation and training for various segments mainly the weaker sections, using innovative methodologies and ensuring convergence of the existing systems enforcing the need to be self - reliant.
