Short profile:Orej - Association for Independent Culture and Youth (Udruga za nezavisnu kulturu i mlade Orej) was founded in 2013 with the aim of encouraging children and creative youngsters from the countryside to recognize and develop their talents, to express themselves creatively and to expand their horizons, by giving them the same opportunities of creative development as it is provided to youngsters who live in the city.
Through free workshops ran by qualified educators, Udruga Orej aims to promote projects in art, multimedia and independent culture and organizes activities in the field of music, art, video and photography, graphic design and publishing.
In addition, when it comes to local community projects, we are involved in local humanitarian actions and we organize a local artistic and humanitarian fair. Through municipality's working groups we promote ecology, permaculture and sustainable development in our local community, but also we encourage not only youngsters, but people of all ages, regardless of their professional education, to participate in local decision making process, as well as in cultural and social life.
