Short profile:The Centre for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) was founded in 2004 with the aim to support and raise awareness of co-existence of different nations and cultures in the Slovak Republic, EU and other parts of the world, promote diversity and mutual understanding. It implements educational, information and cultural activities facilitating co-operation on the national and international level. The main target groups are young people, schools, NGOs, migrants.

Since 2008 the CID has implemented a number of EU projects in education and training (Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Euroepan Integration Fund), youth mobility (Youth in Action) and other. Recently, CID´s activities focus on supporting unemployed and disadvantaged young people and promoting social cohesion and tolerant society.
