Short profile:Narviksenteret is a North Norwegian foundation for history dissemination, human rights and peacebuilding.

The foundation Narviksenteret is a cooperation between Nordland Red Cross War Museum (est. 1964), North Norwegian Peace Centre (est. 1990) and Narvik Municipality.

Narviksenteret's goals are to conduct research, documentation and educational activity to promote peace through knowledge, international interaction and understanding, protecting human rights, as well as respect for the rules of war and international conventions.

We are Norway's biggest Youth in Action organisation, with recurrent EVS projects and group exchanges.
